We embed English and writing accross the curriculum, to ensure we have quality wiritng at all times.

Writing - Curriculum Intent

At Tickford Park Primary School we want the children to be secure in their knowledge and understanding of the different genres of writing and be confident and fluent in their application of them. Our aim is for the children to learn that writing enables them to use their imagination and to express themselves in different ways. We want them to develop a love of writing; to build on their skills and have the necessary skills to move on successfully to the next stage of their education.
