Our friends association have a great impact on helping the school with the fun events they run and money they raise.

We welcome you and your family as members of FOTP. All parents and carers are automatically members of FOTP and there are many different ways you can support us - some volunteer their time or skills, some people bake, some organize, others build, dig or donate, and many others support and enjoy the events. 

Our aim is to support the school by raising as much money as we can to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences and facilities for the children. We also want to provide those “little extras” and organise events that make school memorable and fun for the children, such as school disco, movie nights, treat Fridays etc. 

We also strive to bring the school community and home closer together and for our parents and carers to be more involved in their child’s school life. 

Parents, carers, grandparents and other family members of children at the school are invited to join our closed Facebook group - Friends of Tickford Park Primary School | Facebook where you can follow our upcoming events and activities. 



If you’d like to play a more active role, or have a family member or carer who’d like to know more then please get in touch via email or FB message. We don’t ask you to commit specific time or resources, we just let you know if we need help, and if you can get involved then great and if you can’t then that’s ok too

• School Lottery 

Sign up to Your School Lottery for as little as £1 per week and help FOTP to raise money. FOTP receives 40p per £1 spent. 

Each week, one FOTP Lottery member will win a cash prize – the more members, the bigger the prize! Additionally, all entrants are entered into a national draw for £25,000!

  Help to avoid lost clothing by labelling your child’s clothes. Order your clothes/item labels through www.stikins.co.uk and quote our fundraising number 36106 when ordering, and FOTP will receive a commission from your order

Events

• 20th May 2022 – Smarties Challenge ends

 
Each child received a tube of Smarties kindly donated to us by Tesco Kingston. 

Once they’ve enjoyed their treats, we ask them to do little jobs around the house – for you, your relatives, friends or neighbours – to earn coins which can then go back into the tube.  

Young children could tidy away toys, make their bed, or help clear the table after a meal. Older children could wash the car, do some gardening, wash up or do the laundry.  

Once the tube is filled, seal it securely and mark it with your child’s name and class and return to your class teacher by Friday 20th May please.

 

**There will be a prize for the class that raises the most funds!**

Are you having a clear out over the half term?  

If yes, consider donating your unwanted clothes to Friends Of Tickford Park Primary School.

Clean and wearable clothes, paired shoes and accessories are accepted, plus lots of other items. See the full list in the photo attached. 

Your children will be given bags to bring home, but you can also use your own bags.  

Please bring your donations to the school conservatory during Monday 6th June or on Tuesday 7th June morning by 9am.

Father’s Day Pop Up Shop will open on Friday 17th June.

  
Children will be able to visit the shop during school hours to buy a gift for their loved one.
