Scratch is a free programming language for children aged 8 to 16 years, it is web based but can also be downloaded to run from a computer. For those children who enjoy coding this is a free resource you could allow them to use at home. The children are not allowed to create an account at school but are told to go home and ask their parent / guardian's permission as their parents email address is used to create the account. This allows them to save the scratch projects online rather than their computer. |
